4 of us went out today from Alison Pools to Osborne Rd. Laura rocked the sup from above Alison Pools to the bottom of Trailer Park. I took it from Trailer park to Raft Ranch.
I made it through the first 1/4 of Tamihi but couldn't avoid the big pour over in the middle. Did a mixture of swimming and kneeling the rest of the way to the bridge.
It was a lot of fun and harder than I thought it would be, I have decided both paddler and board need more padding for this sport. Good for laughs if nothing else.
