Anyone up for a run January 6 or 7? I'm not working, so let me know! ...anywhere, North Van (if water levels are ok), Fraser Valley or otherwise.

Hey Adam,
You should go do some creek recon with you time off!! Then report back here with some pics:)
I'm up for paddling this weekend some time
Tanner
There is definate paddling coming this weekend all weekend! Maybe I should... hmm? Where should I check out you reckon?
Liumpchun Creek, (I know I spelled it wrong). Liumpchun creek dumps into river left of the Chilliwack just above Wilson rd.
It has been paddled but likely not for 10 years. I was told by people that have paddled it its a good class 3/4 creek, has a idiot proof 10-12' falls into a big pool. Apparently the put in requires a sketchy traverse and roping your boats.
The bridge over the creek on the road from Tamihi to Cultas Lake is the take out, from there take the switch back to your left if heading towards Cultas for the put in. The road isnt bad just narrow, perfect for your Jeep.
I would maybe wait for some of this low lying snow to be gone first.

Took a walk up and explored the lake down section to check it out, looks a lot like the last part of Horseshoe Bend at the low water we paddled it on.
Anyone up to paddle tomorrow?
liumpchun sounds worthy of a recon mission I'd be up for a hike one saterday. I also wanna check out the upper slesse creek.
The other one I looked at in the back roads map book is the anderson river (past yale)
If I don't paddle with Denny tomorrow, or even if I do, I might grab some keys and check things out
Ryan, I'm guessing this is the waterfall:

I'd drag a boat in there
It was running today...looked to be at an awesome level to run. What a place, just need more time there!
