Recieved this today from our good friends at navigable Waters,
Ryan
"Hi Ryan and Curtis,
Just letting you know that Kinder Morgan is about to start some work in the upper Coquihalla that should last for about 5 weeks. They have an approval to work during the low-water fish work window this month to repair some rip rap that exposed a pipeline after erosion. The river will be temporarily diverted around the worksites (2 of them) near the lakes at the summit. If the water is deeper than 40 cm, then they will be putting up signs for any kayakers in the area, but they expect it may actually run lower than that in the next week or two. The sites are about 2 km downstream from the Coquihalla Lakes, and the road access is restricted due to the sensitivity of the pipeline anyway, but thought I’d let you know regardless.
Happy Tuesday!"
